How Did I Become Interested In Health, Wellness, & Fitness?

I am a mom of 3, Nervous System Coach, Pelvic Floor Fitness Professional, Support Group Leader & Founder of The Coombs Method Pelvic Health Programs.  I help women to get relief from bladder and pelvic pain as well as related disorders through nervous system regulation, nurturing the pelvic floor and holistic lifestyle changes.

I first became interested in women’s health when I was 19 when I had chronic symptoms such as bladder pain, urinary urgency, pelvic pain, painful urination, and painful intercourse.  After many years of seeing many doctors and having many tests  I FINALLY got diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis.  

 

I also had vulvodynia, migraines, neck and back pain but didn’t know at the time they were related to one another.  It was a long hard road, but through a combination of brain retraining (I didn’t know I was doing it at the time haha), nurturing my pelvic floor, and holistic lifestyle changes, I went into remission.

After getting to my remission, I knew I had to help others get to their remission as well.  I started a free online support group for women to learn from and support one another.  

 

I also dived deep into learning about pelvic and bladder pain from a wide variety of professional perspectives.  Deep learning is a passion of mine.  It has also helped me realize that while most specialities may approach things differently, they also share common grounds.  I have been helping women with interstitial cystitis, persistent pelvic pain, diastasis recti, incontinence, and other common pelvic health symptoms to get relief ever since.  

I know first hand that pelvic health concerns are quality of life concerns, that is why it is my life’s mission to help women get rid of these symptoms and improve their quality of life.
