Who am I & What I do?
Hi I’m Alison. I am a wife and mother of 2 who is passionate about helping fellow mothers to manage their weight, strengthen their bodies, get more energy, and bond with their little ones through fitness, fun, and community interaction.
Why Should You Work With Me?
Convenience: I have removed many potential barriers to accessing my services by providing many in-home and online services. You don’t have to leave your home or get a babysitter to enjoy my programs. You only need to select the program that interest you, follow through, and reap the rewards. Simple and convenient.
Relatable: I am a mom and I know the daily struggles that you are dealing with. I also understand the barriers that are getting in your way when it comes to your health, wellness, and fitness goals. There is childcare, chores, work, marriage, and so much more you have to balance. Being a fellow mom, I know how important is it to take care of yourself. Whether your goal is to lose weight, become stronger or increase your energy levels so you can run around with your children, I am here to show you that you can take care of your family and yourself as well. With the right individualized plan and coaching you will achieve your goals. We spend lot of time taking care of others but our health matters too. We can’t take care of others well if we don’t take the time to take care of ourselves.
Unique: What sets me apart from other fitness professionals is that I have worked in Social Services since 2005 assisting different populations of clients to achieve various goals, dreams, and desires. You may think well how does my social services background give me an edge? Well, I understand what drives potentially self-sabotaging behaviors and how to positively impact your behaviors so you get a desirable end result. There are behaviors that drive our ability to be successful in weight management, healthy eating, and in other areas of our lives. I look at a person from a holistic stand point to help them reach their fitness and other wellness goals in the most enjoyable and effective way possible. I have also taken continuing education in all things pelvic floor related so I am able to assist postpartum moms with core retraining, and help them improve things like diastatis recti, incontinence, and back pain.
How Did I Become Interested In Health, Wellness, & Fitness?
My initial interest in health, fitness, and wellness came out of being diagnosed with a chronic illness. I am so lucky to have healed my mind, body, and spirit using holistic methods. I know first hand the importance of being health conscious and engaging in behaviors that improve your level of wellness. Being a mom I want to pass on good habits to my children so they can avoid preventable illness and live the healthiest life possible. I am also here to help educate, empower, and support you along your path to a fitter and healthier you. You deserve it.
